A true product of the internet age, Bartkira is an ongoing collaborative project that sees artists recreating Akira using characters from The Simpsons. Taking things to the next level, the project has now been treated to a video trailer.
The two-and-a-half minute preview was created by over 30 animators, who created a faithful, shot-by-shot tribute to the film's original trailer. It's truly impressive in its scope, and has us longing for a feature-length film to be made.
