Collective Arts continues supporting their hoppy marriage of sound and suds this May, lining up live shows and the launch of collaborative small batch beers with PACKS and Field Guide.
On May 10, PACKS make their Hamilton, ON, debut at Collective Arts alongside poolblood. Not only celebrating the group's Melt the Honey LP from earlier this year, the evening also marks the launch of the small batch honey lager sharing its namesake.
The crisp, lightly sweetened Melt the Honey lager will be available to enjoy on draught that evening, while each ticket includes a tall can of the limited edition brew to take home and enjoy following the evening's performances.
Later that month, singer-songwriter Dylan MacDonald will find his way to Collective Arts in Hamilton to celebrate the release of his latest LP as Field Guide, Rootin' For Ya. Performing a day after the album's release (May 25), MacDonald's performance ties in with the launch of another new small batch brew, Rootin' For Ya pale ale.
Beyond that pair of collaborative beers, Collective Arts continues to make live music dreams come true by packing out the programming slate at their Hamilton brewery (207 Burlington Street East) and their Toronto taproom at 777 Dundas Street West.
Since moving small batch brewing equipment out of their Toronto location, Collective Arts has turned their Toronto taproom into a basement venue and mural project, adorned with visuals from artists across Ontario.
To kick off the spring/summer season, Collective Arts announces a brand new Concert Series welcoming Miesha and the Spanks on May 3 with support from Roach and Thunder Queens, ahead of a May 18th bill featuring Shit Present, Georgia May, Fern Sully and Linens.
The May slate of shows set for their Hamilton brewery also includes evenings with Spencer Krug and Lillian King, Ducks Ltd. Bells Larsen, Golden Feather and a Lovetown Records showcase featuring SHEBAD, Sunshine Makers, J3M, Bitter & Broke, Amanda Movio and Disaster Pony.
